Sandra Lee was the last Cape Dory 30 built, hull #363. She is the finest example of her kind that you will come across. She is a USCG documented vessel and has been cruised from the Hudson to New Brunswick. She is capable of crossing oceans if her new owners have that in mind, but also makes a comfortable, safe coastal cruiser. She is currently moored in Falmouth, Maine, and is in sail-away condition. Sails: Eight total sails, all Ulmer Kolius. Two mainsails in good condition, each with two reefs. Two self-tending staysails, hank-on, good condition. Two roller-furling yankee jibs (one good condition, one needs minor repairs). One hank-on yankee (will not work with current roller furl, but kept as spare.) One heavy storm staysail, hank-on.

Engine: Universal 18 diesel, well-maintained, no problems.

Bunks: Sleeps five. Spacious forward V-berth with "filler" cushion and storage below. Starboard salon settee single berth. Port settee pulls out to form double. Backrests for both settees flip up for extra bunk space.

Ground tackle: Heavy broze plow anchor in bowsprit roller. 30ft of chain with 200ft of three-strand rope rode.

Head: Full head between salon and v-berth. "Y" valve with options for holding tank or direct discharge. Hot and cold pressure water to vanity sink. Teak sole grating in head with drain to bilge.

Below waterline: Hull in excellent condition. Stripped & epoxy barrier coated circa 2001. Painted with Interlux Micron Extra. Bronze three-bladed prop with seaweed cutter. New stuffing box circa 2001. New cutlass bearing 2007.

On deck: Seven bronze winches (four sheets, three halyards.) Bow, stern, and midships bronze cleats. Wheel steering with compass at pedestal.

Electronics: Raymarine RL70CRC+ full-color chartplotter at helm Navpod. Smart heading sensor. Chart chip for Massachusetts to New Brunswick. Raymarine 2kw radar which overlays with chartplotter. Radome mounted on Quest stainless backstay pole. Backup Furano GPS with display in cabin. Raymarine autopilot with remote controller. Depthsounder. VHF. Stereo with radio, cassette player, and cassette-to-iPod adapter.

Electrical: Two group 27 house batteries. One engine battery. 56 watt Solara Flexible deck mounted solar panel with automated controller to charge batteries. 50A shore power with power cord and dedicated battery charger. 12V accessory outlet. Entire boat has been rewired.

Ambiance & comfort: Cozy Cabin brass & stainless vented propane heater on starboard bulkhead (keeps cabin very cozy!). Fold-down teak dining table. Gimballed brass oil lamp on port bulkhead. Seven brass reading lights. Two galley lights.

Ventilation: Eight heavy-duty bronze opening ports with screens and rainshields. Two Bomar hatches. Dorade box ventilation to head. Custom set of additional hatchboards with built-in ventilation fan (very handy in rain or buggy anchorages.)

Safety: Stainless steel swim ladder. Manual and automatic bilge pumps. Automatic fire extinguisher in engine compartment. Two hand-held extinguishers. Throwable horseshoe flotation device plus Lifesling flotation. Flares.

Galley: Fully gimbaled pressure alcohol stove with oven. Dual galley sink with foot-pump fresh water as well as hot and cold pressure water. Handheld shower can be run from galley sink to cockpit for hot showers. Spacious icebox with teak racks and drain to bilge.

Hot water: 6 gallon hot water heater, via engine at sea or shore power when docked.

Other: Many spare engine parts, specialized tools. Four fenders. Many spare docklines. Sea anchor.
